USSD (Unstructured Supplementary Service Data) provides mobile phone access to Symba Payments for clients who may not have smartphones or internet access. Clients can check balances, view transactions, and manage their accounts using simple menu-driven interfaces.

How USSD works

Clients dial a USSD code (e.g., *123#) on their mobile phone to access the USSD menu system. After authenticating with their security code, they can:

• View account balances
• Check recent transactions
• View loan details
• View savings details

All USSD sessions are secure and require authentication with a 6-digit security code.

Agent Services

Clients who are set up as agents have access to an additional Agent Services menu after logging in. This menu lets agents:

• View and respond to client withdrawal requests
• View and respond to client deposit requests
• Initiate direct transfers to any client account without a pre-registered request
